Caring for your new Saicos Repair Wax Oil White 125 ml
If the floor surface has been damaged or locally worn, it can be repaired with 4009 or 3305.
Please note that it is not always possible to make the repair invisible, but it is always possible to make damage/wear less noticeable. Follow the steps below (Note: the product is very concentrated).
1. Shake the oil well before opening. If necessary, cover the repair area.
2. Lightly sand the area to be repaired with 150-grit sandpaper.
3. Lightly moisten the area to be treated.
4. Apply/dab 4009 to the treatment area with a sponge (e.g., the soft side of a green cleaning sponge).
5. Remove the covering. Make sure to apply 4009 only to the area where white pigmentation is missing. If the wax oil has spread slightly, you can carefully remove or blend it by moving the sponge towards the center of the repair. Allow the product to cure slightly (approx. 10 min) to see if the color is as desired.
6. Repeat steps 4-5 if a lighter repair is desired (remember to re-cover if desired).
7. Allow the product to cure completely (approx. 3-4 hours).
8. Use a clean sponge to even out any color differences.
9. Finish with clear wax oil 3305 by dabbing the product on with a clean sponge. Ensure the surface is smooth by lightly blending with the sponge.
10. Allow the product to cure completely (approx. 3-4 hours).
11. The entire plank/area can advantageously be treated with regular maintenance wax (Ecoline Wax Care) to equalize any difference in the dullness of the treated surface and the "old" one.
