Wiking Floors
Quality flooring crafted in Denmark since 1997
Wiking Gulve was founded in 1997 by brothers Anders and Hans Peter Korsgaard. The adventure began in modest, rented premises of just 800 m², where the first pine plank floors were produced.
Today, Wiking Gulve is among Denmark's largest manufacturers of plank floors – and also the only Danish manufacturer licensed to produce floors with the Q-LOC SuperClick system. Our production includes specially developed 3-layer plank floors in selected wood types such as pine, ash, oak, Douglas fir, and pitch pine. Everything is manufactured at our more than 20,000 m² production facility in Roslev, north of Skive.
In 2005, Wiking Gulve became part of Dania Capital, which invested significantly in modern production equipment and technology. This created a strong foundation for growth and further development. In 2012, the company returned to private hands when Kim Axelsen and John Bojesen took over ownership – with a clear focus on quality, innovation, and long-term development.
Since 2012, both production and sales have grown by almost 50% – and development continues. Today, Wiking Gulve is still privately owned by Kim Axelsen, John Bojesen, and Henrik Nielsen, and we are firmly rooted in our values: Danish production, uncompromising quality, and a passion for good flooring.
Wiking Gulve is more than just floors. It's craftsmanship, experience, and proud traditions – created to last for generations.

A responsible path towards a greener future
Our approach to sustainability
“Sustainable development meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
This definition comes from the UN Brundtland Report "Our Common Future" from 1987 and forms the basis for, among other things, the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals from 2015. At Wiking Gulve, we have great respect for this definition. Therefore, we will not claim that our floors are completely sustainable yet, but we are continuously working to minimize and eliminate any negative effects we may cause. We actively want to support a green and sustainable future for both people and the planet.
