Q-Sound sound-insulating underlay (with vapour barrier) - 15 m²

The sound-absorbing underlay is made from 90% recycled material, and provides impact sound reduction and sound insulation for all surfaces.

The sound-absorbing underlay evens out irregularities, and provides high impact sound reduction and sound insulation. Its high compressive strength provides better support for floor stability and improved walking comfort.

Installation of the floor underlay
- The vapor barrier foil must face upwards
– Joints must fit tightly together to avoid irregularities and loss of insulation performance and sound absorption
– Over the joints, tape with 80mm wide aluminum tape to ensure stability, which must adhere with a minimum of 25 mm of tape on each side of the joint
– To prevent moisture from penetrating the ends of the floor, the floor underlay should be run up the wall at the edges and above the height of the floor (this can be concealed with a baseboard)
