Product Description

CLEARANCE SALE - WHILE STOCKS LAST.

Pitch Pine Living – natural wooden floor with character and a light Nordic touch.

Pitch Pine Living 15x180 mm with lye & white oil is a beautiful and lively wooden floor, where natural knots and fillings are part of its charm.
With its wide grading, you get a more distinctive and rustic look, without compromising on the light, elegant finish.

The floor is treated with lye and white oil, which accentuates Pitch Pine's characteristic grain patterns and dampens the wood's natural yellowing.
Perfect for those who want a light wooden floor with a more lively and natural expression.

The Living-grade allows for larger knots and colour variations, which gives an authentic and honest expression with plenty of soul.
An ideal choice for both modern and classic homes, where you want nature's variation with a Scandinavian finish.

Pitch Pine is one of the most robust softwood species and has impressive durability compared to other softer wood types. This makes the floor ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, or the more busy kitchen-dining area. To ensure a functional and aesthetic floor, preserving its strength and visual integrity, this wood type will feature filling of cracks and knots with specially adapted sanding filler and/or hotmelt. Similarly, fallen knots can be replaced with fresh "new" knots adapted to the wood type, thus preserving colour tone and structure.

Hairline cracks (up to 0.5 mm in width) may occur in this wood type. Due to its grain, this wood type is also susceptible to future crack development if you are not extra careful to saturate the surface with oil or soap after installation and before use, as well as with subsequent care and maintenance.

When it comes to hardness, Pitch Pine ranks among the harder softwoods. This hardness makes Pitch Pine more durable and resistant to pressure marks than most other softwoods,
making it suitable for both private homes and light commercial use.
