Returns of goods
We only accept returns at our address in Roslev.

If you regret a purchase, the statutory right of withdrawal only applies to the entire
delivery. It is therefore not possible to return individual packages or parts of
a complete delivery.

The goods must be in unopened packages, and the packaging must be
completely intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not
meet these conditions or have not been agreed upon in advance.

Please note that we do not accept shipments sent cash on delivery.

To ensure quick processing, please include a copy of the order confirmation and

Pine Prima – Classic pine floor in robust quality and light Nordic finish.
A pine wood floor that combines the best of Danish building tradition with a modern, light finish. With its solid thickness of 22 mm and a width of 185 mm, you get a stable, calm, and natural floor that perfectly suits both classic and modern interiors.

The floor is treated with lye and white oil, which effectively prevents natural yellowing and accentuates the pine's light, warm tones. The result is a matte and silky-smooth surface that allows the wood's beautiful grain to stand out clearly.

The Prima sorting offers an elegant and calm expression, with a balanced knot pattern and only a few small fillings. It is the safe choice for those who desire a classic, harmonious floor with a light and airy look – without compromising on the natural aesthetic.

To ensure a functional and aesthetic floor, preserving its strength and visual integrity, this wood type will feature filling of cracks and knots with specially adapted wood filler and/or hot melt. Similarly, fallen knots may be replaced with fresh "new" knots adapted to the wood type, thus maintaining color tone and structure. A Wiking pine plank floor is warm and comfortable to walk on, and has a natural interplay of knots and rounded edges that accentuate the width of the beautiful planks. Pine is a classic and popular wood type for floors in Scandinavian homes, particularly due to its light appearance and natural warmth.

Pine is categorized as a softwood floor, and is more susceptible to signs of wear. However, these marks are easy to rectify with maintenance, and often most soft marks can disappear with just a floor wash or oil refreshment.

On the Brinell scale, which measures wood's resistance to pressure and wear, pine typically ranges around 1.6–1.8 – depending on the growing location and the wood's density. This means that pine is more susceptible to pressure marks, scratches, and other signs of wear than harder wood types like oak or ash. Although pine is a softwood, many choose it for its natural charm and ability to develop a beautiful patina over time. With the right treatment, you can extend the floor's lifespan and give it a surface that is more resistant to everyday use.

Lye & White Oil

Care information:

How to treat it during installation: Pine wood supplied by Wiking Gulve, which has been pre-treated with lye and white oil, must be saturated after installation. The oil we use is a breathable oil, which means that as a customer you have 2 options regarding finishing and appearance.

Oil saturation: Immediately after installation, the floor must be saturated with oil. Use Trip Trap Oil Care White or Natural and follow the instructions on the container. The floor should be treated once, after which you can move into your new Wiking floor as soon as the oil has cured according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Soap saturation: Immediately after installation, the floor must be saturated with white pigmented soap. Use Trip Trap Natural Soap White in a mixing ratio of 1:10. The floor should be washed 3 times over 2 days. This allows the wood to dry between treatments. After the third treatment and once the floor is dry, you can move into your new Wiking floor.

How to treat it generally: Depending on the surface treatment you have chosen, there are, of course, differences in ongoing maintenance.

Oil-treated floor: We recommend that you regularly maintain your oiled floor with Trip Trap Oil Care White once a year. If the floor is installed in a room with a lot of traffic, e.g. a hallway or a kitchen, you should expect it to need care more often than if the floor is in a bedroom.
General floor washing can often be done with clean lukewarm water or possibly Trip Trap Natural Soap White. You can also wash the floor with Trip Trap Oil Soap every 4-5 washes to postpone the next oil treatment a little, as you thereby add a little oil to the surface. However, you should not use oil soap with every floor wash, as the wood can become oversaturated and develop a greasy oil layer, which will bind dust and dirt to the surface.

Soap-treated floor: To ensure continuous good saturation of the floor, we recommend that you wash the floor with Trip Trap Natural Soap White more often than if the wood was oil-saturated. Always follow the instructions on the container regarding mixing ratios. If you feel that your floor is well saturated but needs washing, you can omit the soap and only use lukewarm water.

If you want to lighten the surface, you can wash the floor with Trip Trap Natural Soap Extra White, as this contains more white pigmentation and will lighten the surface over time. If you want to tone down the light color, you can use Trip Trap Natural Soap Natural or omit the soap entirely in the wash water if the surface is already well saturated. Changing the color of the surface happens over time after repeated use of the soap.
