Stock items: Typically dispatched within 2-5 business days.
Not in stock: Normally delivered within 4-8 weeks, depending on production and order size, and will be stated in the order confirmation. If you wish to know a precise delivery time, we recommend that you contact us directly by phone or email – so we can provide you with a qualified estimate.

Returns of goods
We only accept returns at our address in Roslev.

If you regret a purchase, the statutory right of withdrawal only applies to the entire
delivery. It is therefore not possible to return individual packages or parts of
a complete delivery.

The goods must be in unopened packages, and the packaging must be
completely intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not
meet these conditions or have not been agreed upon in advance.

Please note that we do not accept shipments sent cash on delivery.

To ensure quick processing, please include a copy of the order confirmation and
bank account information for any refund.

Pine Living 15x155 – Lye & White Oil is a wooden floor that combines the natural charm of pine with a classic Scandinavian surface treatment. Lye and white oil lighten the wood, reduce yellowing, and highlight its beautiful grain pattern – perfect for those who want a bright and natural look in their home.

The planks measure 155 mm in width and have an elegant, balanced proportion that suits both modern and traditional spaces. The lively knots and warm undertones of the pine create a cozy and inviting atmosphere – a true classic in Nordic homes.

The floor is sorted as Living, which means that larger knots and natural fillings may occur. This gives a more rustic and lively expression than the more uniform Prima sorting, and emphasizes the genuine and authentic nature of the wood's structure.

To ensure a functional and aesthetic floor, preserving the strength and visual integrity of the floor surface, this wood type will feature the filling of cracks and knots with specially adapted sanding filler and/or hotmelt. Likewise, fallen-out knots can be replaced with fresh "new" knots adapted to the wood type, so that color tone and structure are preserved. A Wiking pine plank floor is warm and pleasant to walk on, and has a natural play of knots and rounded edges, which highlight the width of the beautiful planks. Pine is a classic and popular wood type for floors in Scandinavian homes, especially due to its bright expression and natural warmth.

When it comes to hardness, pine is among the softer wood types. On the Brinell scale, which measures the wood's resistance to pressure and wear, pine typically ranges around 1.6–1.8 – depending on the growing location and the wood's density. This means that pine is more susceptible to pressure marks, dents, and wear than harder wood types like oak or ash. Although pine is a soft wood type, many choose it for its natural charm and ability to beautifully patina over time.
With the right treatment, the lifespan of the floor can be extended, and it can be given a surface that is more resistant to everyday use.

Care information:

How to treat during installation:Pine delivered from Wiking Gulve, which has been pre-treated with lye and white oil, must be saturated after installation. The oil we use is a breathable oil, meaning you as a customer have 2 options regarding after-treatment and appearance.

Oil saturation:Immediately after installation, the floor must be saturated with oil. Use Trip Trap Oil Care White or Natural and follow the instructions on the container. The floor must be treated once, after which you can move into your new Wiking floor as soon as the oil has cured according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Soap saturation:Immediately after installation, the floor must be saturated with white-pigmented soap. Use Trip Trap Natural Soap White in a mixing ratio of 1:10. The floor must be washed 3 times over 2 days. This allows the wood to dry between treatments. After the third treatment and once the floor is dry, you can move into your new Wiking floor.

How to treat generally:Depending on the surface treatment you have chosen, there will naturally be differences in ongoing maintenance.

Oiled floor:We recommend that you regularly maintain your oiled floor with Trip Trap Oil Care Whiteonce a year. If the floor is installed in a high-traffic area, e.g., a hallway or kitchen, you should expect it to need care more often than if the floor is in a bedroom.
Regular floor cleaning can usually be done with clean lukewarm water or possibly Trip Trap Natural Soap White. You can also wash the floor with Trip Trap Oil Soapevery 4-5 floor washes to postpone the next oil treatment a bit, as this adds a small amount of oil to the surface. However, you should not use oil soap every time you wash the floor, as the wood can become oversaturated and develop a greasy oil layer, which will bind dust and dirt to the surface.

Soaped floor:To ensure continuous good saturation of the floor, we recommend that you wash the floor with Trip Trap Natural Soap Whitemore often than if the wood were oil-saturated. Always follow the instructions on the container regarding mixing ratios. If you feel your floor is well saturated but needs cleaning, you can omit the soap and only use lukewarm water.

If you wish to lighten the surface, you can wash the floors with Trip Trap Natural Soap Extra White, as this contains more white pigment and will lighten the surface over time. If you wish to tone down the light color, you can use Trip Trap Natural Soap Naturalor completely omit the soap from the wash water if the surface is already well saturated. Changing the surface color happens over time after repeated use of the soap.

In the 3-layer planks, the middle layer of wood is turned crosswise, which reduces the wood's natural movement by up to 70% compared to traditional solid plank floors,
making the planks stable and dimensionally consistent. This unique stability is a distinct advantage when the wooden floor is laid over underfloor heating or where there are greater fluctuations
in temperature and humidity, such as in summer houses.
