Oak Freja 15x155 Frost Matt Lacquer

Specifications and guide

BATCH SALE - WHILE STOCKS LAST.

Oak Freja 15x155 Frost Matte Lacquer – light, classic oak flooring with a matte finish.

The Freja selection is characterized by a uniform appearance with discreet grain patterns and minimal knotting – perfect for those who want stylish flooring with a calm, Nordic feel.

The surface is treated with a frost matte lacquer, which gives a light and understated look. The ultra-matte finish has an almost oiled appearance, but with the strong, easy-to-clean, and durable properties of lacquer. Perfect for modern family life, focusing on both aesthetics and functionality.

Oak is one of the most commonly used and valued wood types for flooring – and for good reason. In addition to its classic and timeless appearance, oak is known for its high durability and hardness. On the Brinell scale, which measures wood's resistance to pressure, oak typically scores around 3.5 - 3.7. This positions oak as a hard wood type, suitable for both private homes and commercial use where durability is required.

To ensure functional and aesthetic flooring, thus preserving the strength and visual integrity of the floor surface, this wood type will feature filling of cracks and knots with specially adapted sanding filler and/or hotmelt. Similarly, fallen knots may be replaced with fresh "new" knots adapted to the wood type, so that color tone and structure are preserved.

Caring for your new wood floor

Surface treatment:
Frost Matlak

Care information:

Lacquered floor:Lacquered floors, like all other surfaces, require regular maintenance. It is recommended to place felt pads under chairs to minimize surface scratches. If the floor gets a scratch, it is advisable to treat it with Trip Trap Lacquer Care. The lacquer care does not remove the scratch but minimizes its appearance. If there is a break in the lacquer, it is very important that the damage is repaired as quickly as possible so that the lacquer is sealed and liquid cannot penetrate the wood.

For floor washing, it is recommended to use Trip Trap Vinyl, Laminate, and Lacquer Soap. Follow the dosing instructions from the manufacturer.

All care and maintenance products mentioned can be purchased on our webshop - see morehere.

Opbygning:
3-layer lamella construction – extra stability in all Wiking plank floors.
We work to ensure that quality wood becomes quality floors. That is why our plank floors, regardless of width and thickness, are constructed in 3 layers of wood. In the 3-layer planks, the middle layer of wood is turned crosswise, which reduces the wood's natural movements by up to 70% compared to traditional solid plank floors,
making the planks stable and dimensionally stable. This unique stability is a distinct advantage when the wooden floor is laid over underfloor heating or where there are larger fluctuations
in temperature and humidity, such as in summer houses.
