Returns of goods
We only accept returns at our address in Roslev.

If you regret a purchase, the statutory right of withdrawal only applies to the entire
delivery. It is therefore not possible to return individual packages or parts of
a complete delivery.

The goods must be in unopened packages, and the packaging must be
completely intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not
meet these conditions or have not been agreed upon in advance.

Please note that we do not accept shipments sent cash on delivery.

A wide plank floor in exclusive softwood, giving the home a light, calm and luxurious expression. With a width of 235 mm, the Prestige series is ideal for larger rooms, where the wide planks truly emphasize the room's architecture and create a harmonious overall impression.

The treatment with lye and white oil brightens the natural pink glow of the Douglas wood and highlights the elegant grain, giving the floor a beautiful, Nordic finish. The result is a floor that is both modern, timeless, and full of character.

Douglas is a classic softwood species, known for its strength, warm color variations, and ability to age gracefully. Over time, the floor develops a natural patina, which makes it even more personal.

Douglas is part of the softwood family and is a softer wood species. On the Brinell scale, which is used to measure the hardness of wood species, Douglas typically ranges from 1.4 - 1.6, placing it below harder wood species such as oak and ash. This means that Douglas floors are more susceptible to pressure marks, scratches, and wear, especially in high-traffic areas or where shoes with hard soles are used.

Due to the grain patterns, this wood type is also prone to developing cracks in the future if you are not extra careful to saturate the surface with oil or soap after installation and before use, as well as with subsequent care and maintenance. Hairline cracks (up to 0.5 mm in width) may occur in this wood type.

To ensure a functional and aesthetic floor, maintaining the strength and visual integrity of the floor surface, this wood type will feature filling of cracks and knots with specially adapted sanding filler and/or hotmelt. Similarly, fallen knots can be replaced with fresh "new" knots adapted to the wood type, so that color tone and structure are preserved.

Care information:

How to treat it during installation:Douglas wood flooring supplied by Wiking Gulve, which has been pre-treated with clear lye and white oil, must be saturated after installation. The oil we use is a breathable oil, which means it is generally ready for use. However, we recommend post-treatment before use if the floor is installed in a high-traffic area (e.g., kitchen or hallway). Oil saturation:Immediately after installation, the floor must be saturated with oil. Use Trip Trap Oil Care White or Natural and follow the instructions on the container. The floor should be treated once, after which you can use your new Wiking floor as soon as the oil has cured according to the manufacturer's instructions.Soap saturation:Immediately after installation, the floor must be saturated with white-pigmented soap.Use Trip Trap Natural Soap White in a 1:10 mixture. The floor should be washed 3 times over 2 days. This allows the wood to dry between treatments. After the third treatment and once the floor is dry, you can move onto your new Wiking floor.How to treat it generally:Depending on the surface treatment you have chosen, there are, of course, differences in ongoing maintenance.Oil-treated floor:We recommend that you regularly maintain your oiled floor withTrip Trap Oil Care Whiteonce a year. If the floor is installed in a high-traffic area, such as a hallway or kitchen, you should expect it to need more frequent care than if the floor is in a room.Regular floor washing can usually be done with clean lukewarm water or possiblyTrip Trap Natural Soap White. You can advantageously wash the floor withTrip Trap Oil Soapevery 4-5 washes to slightly delay the next oil treatment, as you thereby add a little oil to the surface. However, you should not use oil soap with every floor wash, as the wood can become oversaturated and develop a greasy oil layer, which will bind dust and dirt to the surface.Soap-treated floor:To ensure continuous good saturation of the floor, we recommend that you wash the floor withTrip Trap Natural Soap Whitemore often than if the wood was oil-saturated. Always follow the instructions on the container regarding mixing ratios. If you feel that your floor is well saturated but needs washing, you can advantageously omit the soap and only use lukewarm water.If you wish to lighten the surface, you can advantageously wash the floors withTrip Trap Natural Soap Extra White, as this contains more white pigment and will eventually lighten the surface. If you wish to tone down the light color, you can useTrip Trap Natural Soap Natural
