Stock items: Typically dispatched within 2-5 business days.
Not in stock: Normally delivered within 4-8 weeks, depending on production and order size, and will be stated in the order confirmation. If you wish to know a precise delivery time, we recommend that you contact us directly by phone or email – so we can provide you with a qualified estimate.

Returns of goods
We only accept returns at our address in Roslev.

If you regret a purchase, the statutory right of withdrawal only applies to the entire
delivery. It is therefore not possible to return individual packages or parts of
a complete delivery.

The goods must be in unopened packages, and the packaging must be
completely intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not
meet these conditions or have not been agreed upon in advance.

Please note that we do not accept shipments sent cash on delivery.

To ensure quick processing, please include a copy of the order confirmation and
bank account information for any refund.

Ash Select 15x155 White Oil – light, exclusive ash wood flooring.

With an ash floor from Wiking Gulve, you get all the natural properties of a solid wood floor – in an engineered solution. Our ash floors have rounded edges that accentuate the width of individual planks and the floor's exclusive appearance. The plank floors are made from exquisite Danish ash – a beautiful, light wood type with a characteristic structure in brownish to reddish heartwood.

Ash Select White Oil is a stylish wood floor in Nordic ash, designed for those who desire a light and elegant look. The Select grading is uniform with few knots and without brown core, which creates a calm and exclusive look that perfectly suits modern homes.

The floor is treated with white oil, which enhances the wood's natural grain and brightens the color tones, while also protecting the surface from wear and daily use. The result is a light and inviting floor that adds warmth and character to the room.

Ash wood is known for its high durability and is one of the hardest light wood types used for flooring. On the Brinell scale, which measures wood hardness, ash typically scores around 3.6 - 3.8 – making it harder than both oak and pine. Its high hardness makes ash floors particularly resistant to pressure marks, scratches, and daily wear. Ash is therefore an excellent choice for floors in high-traffic homes, families with children, or rooms where furniture is often moved around.

To ensure a functional and aesthetic floor, thereby preserving the strength and visual integrity of the floor surface, this wood type will feature filling of cracks and knots with specially adapted sand filler and/or hotmelt. Similarly, fallen knots may be replaced with fresh "new" knots adapted to the wood type, thus preserving color tone and structure.

The wood's light color and clear grain give a modern expression and at the same time hide small scratches and dust better than dark floors. With the right treatment, an ash floor can remain beautiful for many years and retain its light and elegant appearance.

Caring for your new wood floor

Care information:

How to treat it during installation: Ash flooring supplied by Wiking Gulve, which has been pre-treated with white oil, must be saturated after installation.

Oil saturation: Immediately after installation, the floor must be saturated with oil. Use Trip Trap Oil Care White and follow the instructions on the container. The floor should be treated once, after which you can move into your new Wiking floor as soon as the oil has cured according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Oiled floor: We recommend that you regularly maintain your oiled floor with Trip Trap Oil Care White once a year. If the floor is installed in a high-traffic area, e.g., a hallway or a kitchen, you should expect it to need care more often than if the floor is in a bedroom. Regular floor washing can usually be done with clean lukewarm water or possibly Trip Trap Natural Soap White. You can advantageously wash the floor with Trip Trap Oil Soap every 4-5 washes to postpone the next oil treatment slightly, as this adds a little oil to the surface. However, you should not use the oil soap with every floor wash, as the wood can become oversaturated and develop a greasy oil layer, which will bind dust and dirt to the surface.

We strive for quality wood to become quality floors. That is why our plank floors, regardless of width and thickness, are constructed in 3 layers of wood. In the 3-layer planks, the middle layer of wood is turned crosswise, which reduces the wood's natural movements by up to 70% compared to traditional solid plank floors,
making the planks stable and dimensionally stable. This unique stability is a unique advantage when the wooden floor is laid on underfloor heating or where there are larger fluctuations
in temperature and humidity, such as in summer houses.
