Returns of goods
We only accept returns at our address in Roslev.

If you regret a purchase, the statutory right of withdrawal only applies to the entire
delivery. It is therefore not possible to return individual packages or parts of
a complete delivery.

The goods must be in unopened packages, and the packaging must be
completely intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not
meet these conditions or have not been agreed upon in advance.

Please note that we do not accept shipments sent cash on delivery.

Ash Prestige Atlantic 15x235 White Oil – extra wide planks with a bright and natural glow.
With an ash floor from Wiking Gulve, you get all the natural qualities of a solid wood floor – in an engineered solution. Our ash floors have rounded edges, which emphasize the width of each plank and the floor's exclusive appearance. The plank floors are made from exquisite Danish ash – a beautiful, light wood with a characteristic structure in brownish to reddish heartwood.

Ash Prestige Atlantic 22x235 White Oil is an exclusive ash wood floor with extra wide planks that give the room a stylish and cohesive look. The wide planks highlight the ash's characteristic structure and create a sense of calm, even with the lively play of colors.

In the Atlantic sorting, you will find a varied expression, where knots, brown heartwood, and fillings create a natural play from plank to plank. The variations mean that the floor can be combined in many ways and thus get its own personal touch.

The white oil treatment gives the floor a bright and friendly tone, which accentuates the grain and supports the Nordic look. At the same time, the oil protects against daily wear and tear and makes the floor easy to maintain.

Ash wood is known for its high durability and is one of the hardest light wood types used for flooring. On the Brinell scale, which measures wood hardness, ash typically scores around 3.6 - 3.8 – making it harder than both oak and pine. The high hardness makes ash floors particularly resistant to pressure marks, scratches, and daily wear. Ash is therefore an obvious choice for floors in high-traffic homes, families with children, or rooms where furniture is often moved around.

To ensure a functional and aesthetic floor, thus preserving the strength and visual integrity of the floor surface, cracks and knots in this wood species will be filled with specially adapted wood filler and/or hotmelt. Likewise, missing knots can be replaced with fresh "new" knots adapted to the wood species, so that color tone and structure are preserved.

The wood's light color and clear grain give a modern look and at the same time hide minor scratches and dust better than dark floors. With the right treatment, an ash floor can remain beautiful for many years and retain its bright and elegant appearance.

Caring for your new wood floor

How it should be treated during installation:Ash flooring supplied by Wiking Gulve, which has been pre-treated with white oil, must be saturated after installation.

Oil saturation:Immediately after installation, the floor must be saturated with oil. UseTrip Trap Oil Care Whiteand follow the instructions on the container. The floor must be treated once, after which you can move into your new Wiking floor as soon as the oil has cured according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Oiled floor:We recommend that you continuously maintain your oiled floor withTrip Trap Oil Care Whiteonce a year. If the floor is installed in a high-traffic area, such as a hallway or a kitchen, you should expect it to need care more often than if the floor is in a bedroom. Regular floor washing can usually be done with clean lukewarm water or possiblyTrip Trap Natural Soap White. You can advantageously wash the floor withTrip Trap Oil Soapevery 4-5 floor washes to slightly postpone the next oil treatment, as you thereby add a little oil to the surface. However, you should not use the oil soap with every floor wash, as the wood can become oversaturated and develop a greasy oil layer, which will bind dust and dirt to the surface.

We strive to transform quality timber into quality flooring. Therefore, our plank floors, regardless of width and thickness, are constructed in 3 layers of wood. In 3-layer planks, the middle layer of wood is turned crosswise, which reduces the wood's natural movements by up to 70% compared to traditional solid plank floors,
making the planks stable and dimensionally consistent. This unique stability is a distinct advantage when the wood floor is laid over underfloor heating or in areas with larger fluctuations
in temperature and humidity, such as in summer houses.
