Returns of goods
We only accept returns at our address in Roslev.

If you regret a purchase, the statutory right of withdrawal only applies to the entire
delivery. It is therefore not possible to return individual packages or parts of
a complete delivery.

The goods must be in unopened packages, and the packaging must be
completely intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not
meet these conditions or have not been agreed upon in advance.

Please note that we do not accept shipments sent cash on delivery.

Ash Mjølner 2nd Grade 15x185 Grey oil – Beautiful ash floor with visible repairs and character flaws

A plank floor with the same elegant expression and construction as our standard variant, but where visual deviations may occur in the surface. These floors offer the same robust lamella construction and natural properties, but at an advantageous price, as the planks may have cosmetic flaws.

Ash wood is known for its high wear resistance and is one of the hardest light wood types used for flooring. On the Brinell scale, which measures the hardness of wood, ash typically scores around 3.6 - 3.8 – making it harder than both oak and pine. The high hardness makes ash floors particularly resistant to pressure marks, scratches, and daily wear. Ash is therefore an obvious choice for floors in high-traffic homes, families with children, or rooms where furniture is often moved around.

To ensure a functional and aesthetic floor, so that the strength and visual integrity of the floor surface are maintained, cracks and knots in this wood type will be filled with specially adapted wood filler and/or hotmelt. Similarly, fallen knots can be replaced with fresh "new" knots adapted to the wood type, so that the color tone and structure are preserved.

The wood's light color and clear grain give a modern look and at the same time hide small scratches and dust better than dark floors. With the right treatment, an ash floor can stay beautiful for many years and retain its light and elegant appearance.

Caring for your new wood floor

Care information:

How it should be treated after laying: Ash wood supplied by Wiking Gulve, which has been oil-treated, must be saturated after installation.

Oil saturation: Immediately after installation, the floor must be saturated with oil. The floor should be treated once, after which you can move into your new Wiking floor as soon as the oil has cured according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Oil-treated floor: We recommend that you regularly maintain your oiled floor approximately once a year. If the floor is installed in a high-traffic area, such as a hallway or kitchen, you should expect it to need care more often than if the floor is in a room. Regular floor washing can usually be done with clean lukewarm water or possibly Trip Trap soap. You can also wash the floor with Trip Trap Oil Soap every 4-5 washes to delay the next oil treatment a little, as this adds a little oil to the surface. However, you should not use the oil soap with every wash, as the wood can become oversaturated and develop a greasy oil layer, which will bind dust and dirt to the surface.

We strive to turn quality timber into quality floors. That is why our plank floors, regardless of width and thickness, are made from 3 layers of wood. In the 3-layer planks, the middle layer of wood is turned crosswise, which reduces the natural movements of the wood by up to 70% compared to traditional solid plank floors,
so the planks become stable and dimensionally stable. The unique stability is a distinct advantage when the wooden floor is laid on underfloor heating or where there are larger fluctuations
in temperature and humidity, such as in summer houses.
