Stock items: Typically dispatched within 2-5 business days.
Not in stock: Normally delivered within 4-8 weeks, depending on production and order size, and will be stated in the order confirmation. If you wish to know a precise delivery time, we recommend that you contact us directly by phone or email – so we can provide you with a qualified estimate.

Returns of goods
We only accept returns at our address in Roslev.

If you regret a purchase, the statutory right of withdrawal only applies to the entire
delivery. It is therefore not possible to return individual packages or parts of
a complete delivery.

The goods must be in unopened packages, and the packaging must be
completely intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not
meet these conditions or have not been agreed upon in advance.

Please note that we do not accept shipments sent cash on delivery.

To ensure quick processing, please include a copy of the order confirmation and

With an ash floor from Wiking Gulve, you get all the natural properties of a solid wood floor – in an engineered solution. Our ash floors have rounded edges that accentuate the width of each plank and the exclusive look of the floor. The plank floors are made from exquisite Danish ash – a beautiful, light wood with a characteristic grain ranging from brownish to reddish heartwood.

Ask Mjølner 15x185 Grey Oil is a stylish wood floor that combines ash's natural strength with a modern, grey-toned surface.

The Mjølner sorting is characterized by a distinctive and lively expression with clear grain patterns and colour variations, giving each plank its unique character. This creates a floor with lots of personality and character.

The surface is treated with grey oil, which enhances the wood's structure and adds a modern look with cool shades. The oil also protects the floor from dirt and wear, so it stays beautiful for many years with proper maintenance.

Ash wood is known for its high durability and is one of the hardest light wood species used for flooring. On the Brinell scale, which measures wood hardness, ash typically scores around 3.6 - 3.8 – making it harder than both oak and pine. This high hardness makes ash floors particularly resistant to pressure marks, scratches, and daily wear. Ash is therefore an excellent choice for floors in high-traffic homes, families with children, or rooms where furniture is often moved.

To ensure a functional and aesthetic floor, thus preserving the strength and visual integrity of the floor surface, cracks and knots in this wood species will be filled with specially adapted wood filler and/or hot melt. Similarly, fallen knots can be replaced with fresh "new" knots adapted to the wood species, so that the colour tone and structure are preserved.

The wood's light colour and clear grain give a modern look while also concealing minor scratches and dust better than dark floors. With the right treatment, an ash floor can remain beautiful for many years and retain its light and elegant appearance.

Caring for your new wood floor

Surface treatment:
Grey oil

Care information:

How it should be treated during installation: Ash wood supplied by Wiking Gulve, which has been pre-treated with white oil, must be saturated after installation.

Oil saturation: Immediately after installation, the floor must be saturated with oil. The floor should be treated 1 time, after which you can move into your new Wiking floor as soon as the oil has hardened according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Oiled floor: We recommend that you continuously maintain your oiled floor approximately once a year. If the floor is installed in a room with a lot of traffic, e.g. a hallway or a kitchen, you should expect that it will need care more often than if the floor is in a bedroom. Regular floor washing can usually be done with clean lukewarm water or possibly Trip Trap soap. You can advantageously wash the floor with Trip Trap Oil Soap every 4-5 washes to postpone the next oil treatment a little, as you thereby add a little oil to the surface. However, you should not use the oil soap with every floor wash, as the wood can become oversaturated and get a greasy oil layer, which will bind dust and dirt to the surface.

We strive to turn quality wood into quality floors. That is why our plank floors, regardless of width and thickness, are constructed in 3 layers of wood. In the 3-layer planks, the middle layer of wood is turned crosswise, which reduces the wood's natural movements by up to 70% compared to traditional solid plank floors,
making the planks stable and dimensionally stable. The unique stability is a distinct advantage when the wooden floor is laid on underfloor heating or where there are larger fluctuations
in temperature and humidity, such as in summer houses.
