Stock items: Typically dispatched within 2-5 business days.
Not in stock: Normally delivered within 4-8 weeks, depending on production and order size, and will be stated in the order confirmation. If you wish to know a precise delivery time, we recommend that you contact us directly by phone or email – so we can provide you with a qualified estimate.

Returns of goods
We only accept returns at our address in Roslev.

If you regret a purchase, the statutory right of withdrawal only applies to the entire
delivery. It is therefore not possible to return individual packages or parts of
a complete delivery.

The goods must be in unopened packages, and the packaging must be
completely intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not
meet these conditions or have not been agreed upon in advance.

Please note that we do not accept shipments sent cash on delivery.

To ensure quick processing, please include a copy of the order confirmation and

Ask Country Life 22x185 White Oil – robust ash flooring with natural color variations.
With an ash floor from Wiking Gulve, you get all the natural qualities of a solid wood floor – in an engineered solution. Our ash floors have rounded edges, which highlight the width of each plank and the exclusive look of the floor. The plank floors are made from exquisite Danish ash – a beautiful, light wood with a characteristic structure of brownish to reddish heartwood.

Ask Country Life 22x185 White Oil is an elegant ash wood floor that combines durability with a beautiful, vibrant expression.

With the Country sorting, you get a floor with significant color variation – from light tones to darker brown heartwood. The natural knots and fillings give the floor character and create a warm, inviting atmosphere in the home.

The floor is treated with white oil, which enhances the wood's structure and provides a bright and modern finish, while also protecting the surface from dirt and wear.

Ash wood is known for its high wear resistance and is one of the hardest light wood species used for flooring. On the Brinell scale, which measures wood hardness, ash typically scores around 3.6 - 3.8 – making it harder than both oak and pine. The high hardness makes ash floors particularly resistant to pressure marks, scratches, and daily wear. Ash is therefore an excellent choice for floors in high-traffic homes, families with children, or rooms where furniture is often moved around.

To ensure a functional and aesthetic floor, thus preserving the strength and visual integrity of the floor surface, cracks and knots in this wood species will be filled with specially adapted wood filler and/or hotmelt. Similarly, fallen knots can be replaced with fresh "new" knots adapted to the wood species, so that color tone and structure are maintained.

The wood's light color and clear grain give a modern look and at the same time hide small scratches and dust better than dark floors. With the right treatment, an ash floor can stay beautiful for many years and retain its light and elegant appearance.

Caring for your new wood floor

Care information:

How to treat it during installation: Ash wood supplied by Wiking Gulve, which has been pre-treated with white oil, must be saturated after installation.

Oil saturation: Immediately after installation, the floor must be saturated with oil. Use Trip Trap Oil Care White and follow the instructions on the container. The floor must be treated once, after which you can move into your new Wiking floor as soon as the oil has hardened according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Oiled floor: We recommend that you regularly maintain your oiled floor with Trip Trap Oil Care White once a year. If the floor is installed in a room with heavy traffic, such as a hallway or a kitchen, you should expect it to need care more often than if the floor is in a bedroom. Regular floor washing can often be done with clean lukewarm water or possibly Trip Trap Natural Soap White. You can advantageously wash the floor with Trip Trap Oil Soap every 4-5 floor washes to postpone the next oil treatment a little, as you thereby add a little oil to the surface. However, you should not use the oil soap with every floor wash, as the wood can become oversaturated and get a greasy oil layer, which will bind dust and dirt to the surface.

We strive to transform quality timber into quality flooring. That's why our plank floors, regardless of width and thickness, are constructed in 3 layers of wood. In the 3-layer planks, the middle layer of wood is turned crosswise, which reduces the wood's natural movements by up to 70% compared to traditional solid plank floors,
making the planks stable and dimensionally consistent. This unique stability is a distinct advantage when the wooden floor is laid over underfloor heating or where there are larger fluctuations
in temperature and humidity, such as in summer houses.
