Stock items: Typically dispatched within 2-5 business days.

Returns of goods
We only accept returns at our address in Roslev.

If you regret a purchase, the statutory right of withdrawal only applies to the entire
delivery. It is therefore not possible to return individual packages or parts of
a complete delivery.

The goods must be in unopened packages, and the packaging must be
completely intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not
meet these conditions or have not been agreed upon in advance.

Please note that we do not accept shipments sent cash on delivery.

To ensure quick processing, please include a copy of the order confirmation and

Ask Country Life 15x185 White Oil – Natural Play of Colours and Nordic Strength.
With an ash floor from Wiking Gulve, you get all the natural properties of a solid wood floor – in an engineered solution. Our ash floors have rounded edges, which highlight the width of each plank and the exclusive look of the floor. The plank floors are made from exquisite Danish ash – a beautiful, light wood with a characteristic structure in brownish to reddish heartwood.

Ask Country Life 15x185 White Oil is a beautiful wooden floor made of Danish ash, combining natural strength with a lively expression.

The Country sorting is characterised by a lively play of colours, where the planks vary from light wood to darker brown heartwood. Knots and fillings emphasise the wood's natural origin and give the floor a warm, rustic, and inviting feel.

The surface is treated with white oil, which lightens the wood, highlights the grain, and protects against dirt and wear. The result is a floor with plenty of personality that is also easy to maintain.

Ash wood is known for its high durability and is one of the hardest light wood types used for flooring. On the Brinell scale, which measures wood hardness, ash typically scores around 3.6 - 3.8 – making it harder than both oak and pine. The high hardness makes ash floors particularly resistant to pressure marks, scratches, and daily wear. Ash is therefore an ideal choice for floors in high-traffic homes, families with children, or rooms where furniture is often moved around.

To ensure a functional and aesthetic floor, thus preserving the strength and visual integrity of the floor surface, cracks and knots in this wood species will be filled with specially adapted wood filler and/or hotmelt. Similarly, fallen knots can be replaced with fresh "new" knots adapted to the wood species, so that colour tone and structure are preserved.

The wood's light colour and clear grain give a modern look while also concealing minor scratches and dust better than dark floors. With the right treatment, an ash floor can remain beautiful for many years and retain its bright and elegant appearance.

Caring for your new wood floor

Care information:

How it should be treated after laying:Ash wood supplied by Wiking Gulve, which has been pre-treated with white oil, must be saturated after installation.

Oil saturation: Immediately after installation, the floor must be saturated with oil. Use Trip Trap Oil Care White and follow the instructions on the container. The floor should be treated once, after which you can move into your new Wiking floor as soon as the oil has hardened according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Oiled floor: We recommend that you regularly maintain your oiled floor with Trip Trap Oil Care White once a year. If the floor is installed in a high-traffic area, such as a hallway or kitchen, you should expect it to need care more often than if the floor is in a bedroom. Regular floor washing can usually be done with clean lukewarm water or possibly Trip Trap Natural Soap White. You can advantageously wash the floor with Trip Trap Oil Soap every 4-5 floor washes to postpone the next oil treatment a little, as this adds a small amount of oil to the surface. However, you should not use oil soap every time you wash the floor, as the wood can become oversaturated and develop a greasy oil layer, which will bind dust and dirt to the surface.

We ensure that quality timber is transformed into quality floors. That’s why our plank floors, regardless of width and thickness, are constructed in 3 layers of wood. In 3-layer planks, the middle layer of wood is turned crosswise, which reduces the wood's natural movements by up to 70% compared to traditional solid plank floors,
making the planks stable and dimensionally consistent. This exceptional stability is a unique advantage when the wooden floor is laid on underfloor heating or where there are larger fluctuations
in temperature and humidity, such as in summer houses.
